As soon as you use an electrical toothbrush you will never go back to a manual one (unless it’s an emergency!) and I have been through a few in my time – after a year or two the brushes seem to have worse battery life etc. and it’s just a time for a change.
I recently started using a new one by Oral-B, the Pro 2000 Limited Edition in Pink, even though I have a Panasonic because I wanted to try their new Cross Action Head Brush, which looks quite errr…pokey? But deep cleansing!
Another quirk of this pink model is that is has ‘Sound Connectivity’ – basically you can download an Oral-B app on your phone and it will time how long you have brushed your teeth and keep a log of it – how nifty is that?! Usually only the Pro 6000 range (which is more expensive) has this feature.
From what I can gather from using this brush is that there’s 2 speeds to use. My other toothbrush has more features but to be honest I generally only use one, which is the deep cleansing one – I don’t use half of the fancy features on it because well…who has time!?
I found this brush easy to use and well – it just functions well. My teeth feel very clean after using it. The brush head is very deep cleansing with uneven bristles which get into the gaps.
If I had any negative it would just be that this brush is not the quietest.
I have been using the Oral-B 3D White Brilliance toothbrush which is thew newest whitening toothpaste (I usually use sensitive toothpastes but I use this alongside).
Anyway – this is a strange toothpaste because it almost feels like it’s present for the whole day if that makes sense?! Throughout the day I felt that my teeth were fresh and there were these odd moments of fresh bursts – such an odd sensation, but not complaining as it made my teeth feel fresh!
This brush in pink is exclusive to Superdrug at £69.99, I can’t see it online yet even though the full range is here.
