I have no idea why I am announcing this on the blog as it doesn’t really have to be mentioned but MY CAMERA DIED LAST WEEK. My Nikon D7000 which is almost 2 years old just suddenly ‘clicked’ loudly as I was taking photos of eyeliner (how very beauty bloggy of me) and like an old lady clicking her hips, I knew something was wrong.
Next thing you know, my images looked like this – with a black line through the middle.
I have had a sticky ‘mirror’ problem before in a previous camera which I didn’t bother to repair. This time the mirror will come back down but it’s a fair bit slower. Oh dear. Luckily I found the warranty details – 2 years cover is up in April! Score! Then I realised I needed the receipt which wasn’t in the original box…but long story short, I found it. Yay!
My point is;
– My camera is broke so I will be a bit behind with blog photos. I can use my point and shoot but it depends, some things look better on the DSLR.
– Always get extended warranty of pricy goods
– Keep your receipts safe!
Can’t wait to have my camera back!

Oh God, I would be devastated if that happened to me. I’ve kept the body of my old DSLR in case this ever happens. I hope it all works out OK! x x
