A-hallo. I have a round of some latest beauty things I (or the candy household has been testing) with some thoughts!
First off, TIGI Bed Head Joyride Texturizing Powder Balm (£16.95) is a phallic looking tube with a bulbous head of clear textures wax which dries to a powdery feel. It’s a really strange product but quite fun to use in the hair. Once you ruffle it in, it adds texture like the silica powder does without feeling too sticky or rough.
This is good if you have fluffy hair like me after washing as it gives it a bit of grip and makes you look less like a duckling. I like this as it’s invisible, I find other hair powders can sometimes show up even when they say they are invisible.

Anatomicals extremely fun looking range is surprisingly affordable and the sort of thing I would but for a mate because they’re a bit cheeky.
The fruity bath gel (£5) has the quite, ‘Your taps are going to be so turned on’ and smells very fruity-citrusy. Not drying, a good all rounder and a good one to gift because who doesn’t like a fruity bath? The Hottie Tottie is a sachet face mask for spotty skins and blocked pores, it contains sage and tea tree oil. I only used this on my t-zone as my cheeks are sensitive and I am glad I did that since it is quite tingly. It nose area looked and felt a lot cleaner and fresher afterwards.
Anatomicals is sold at ASOS.
iWhite Instant Teeth Whitening Kit (£29.99) is an easy to use teeth whitening set – it’s like having the trays, which is what dentists use, but without having the hassle of squirting your own gel in. I think these are more comfortable to wear and use than those whitening strips – for some reason I can’t get them to stick, where as this one fits over the teeth.
Anyway this one was tested by my cousin because I am breasfeeding and this set isn’t recommended for nursing women. Below are her comments:
“The box contains 10 pre filled mouth trays and they fit my teeth fine, although at first I thought they were a bit loose but then as I left them on I realised it was quite comfortable. First I brushed my teeth then used the tray. I did top and lower teeth and I kept it on for the 20 minutes. I also used it for 5 days in a row. I have sensitive gums and at one point I felt a flash of pain when the gel got to my gums but I rubbed this off and it was fine. Overall I think my teeth were at least 3 shades lighter after the week.”
These are worth a go if you want tray whiteners, not strips, and don’t want the hassle of filling trays with your own gel.
Natrasan (£10) is a 100% natural antiseptic spray that kills 99.9% of germs, can be ingested, contains no alcohol and is skin friendly. It’s brilliant if you have germ kids like me for hands, toys, cuts etc. You can sanitise surfaces or yourself (ahem).
When you spray this there is definitely a slightly bleach like smell to it which fades quickly and disappears. It didn’t seem to sting my skin when I sprayed it on,although I wouldn’t generally spray something on my cuts and things (or on the kids in case the mist ended up elsewhere). I think its really handy – I usually use the Milton spray on surfaces but a benefit of this product is that it is natural and and very mild.
This stuff costs 4 times that of Milton though so it really depends what you want it for. I would stick to Milton for surfaces and use this for the skin.
