Treading on the heels of Make Up For Ever’s HD blushes (which I had but found TOO pigmented, too difficult to use) comes Missha’s Sheer Fluid Blushers – I love liquid and cream blushes even if they don’t last that long – I like the glowy look they give and how they feel on my skin. I DON’T like mousse blushers (so far) because they make me feel like I’m rubbing silicone on my face.
And on to my little haul!
There are 4 shades to choose from; whenever buying Asian brands, bear in mind that they tend to make really sheer, light shades for pale skin so I went for the darkest one (which isn’t actually that dark by the way!). 04 is Vivid Coral a really beautiful orange peach.
The Sheer Fluid blushers are shimmer free and a really nice creamy-liquid texture. One pump brings out (like with all these damn blushers) too much product, and not wanting to waste it I ended up looking really really really…flushed some days. Ahem.
I used this product quite regularly and it is a really lovely natural no brainer peachy shade that works on my medium tan skintone and would look great on paler ladies too. It’s still too light in my opinion for dark skintones which is a shame – but a lot of these Asian brands do play it safe when it comes to lip and cheek colours.
Texture is very much a cream not a gel which I prefer.
Is blended away even a phrase? Anyway as you can see the scary boldness is not indicative of the finish which is sheer and very glowy.
Even though it’s a sheer natural finish, if you leave it on the skin for too long (over 15 seconds) without blending it will set and you will have blobs over your face which will require make up remover to take off for some foundation to tone down!! I know because I did this!
Once set it’s a glowy finish, rather than powdery and it lasts ok, a few hours but nothing long lasting.
On my cheeks;
BUT! THERE’S! A! PROBLEM!
The pump broke. One week in and it stopped pumping and there’s nothing I can do to get the rest of the product out. The seller refunded me for the item but I’m kinda sad – I just wanted it to work and seeing as I have so much other make up I don’t feel any great urge to buy this again right away.
But it’s a great liquid blush if you’re not into the scarily pigmented MUFE and ELF versions out there!
Bought from eBay for around £6!
