Another item I was sent was Michael Todd’s Naked Kiss lipstick in Affection , a bold true red.

First off the barrel is shorter than your average lipstick – I’ve decided I like this because I like things nice and compact!
The formula is better than I expected; its very pigmented, it’s very soft and creamy today but without the potential to bleed everywhere like this Dolce & Gabbana Red.
I am quite fussy with my reds; I favour orange reds over blue or yellow based reds just because I think they flatter my warm skintone…Having said that this lipstick is not the usual red I would pick up but I think it works. It helps that the formula is super creamy and just melts into the lips not looking creasy at all…
Oh that’s another important point. I think it makes the lips look healthy which is important when your wearing something as bold as this. I’ll always choose a creamy red over a matte one because my lips chap so easily.
