I have never used anything from L’oreal Elvive’s Full Restore 5 range before, but guess what? The power of marketing means I already know what the range’s USP is!
5 problems, 1 solution.
I only realised where I have heard this line before! Why aye! It’s Cheryl in her red dress, telling us about the Full Restore range!
The 60 Second Saviour Intensive Conditioner is one of the newer products from the Full Restore range – it an intensive conditioner that works in 60 minutes…wait….60 seconds!
I am all for this. I’ve said it before – god knows I need intensive conditioners but I really hate having to wait too long for one to work. So 1 minute is fine by me (what do you do in that one minute? I apply a scrub!).
This formula is supposed to contain keratin and ceramide – it is leaves the surface of the hair feeling smoother and soft to touch.
Here is the product:
This product is like any intensive conditioner with a rich, thick, white consistency and a slightly minty smell (no idea why!).
I used this product a few times and there’s pros and cons.
The con is that I found it didn’t help my hair with the tighter knots (my hair is really dry and knotty when I wash it) and only the strongest conditioners will help me brush through them. I do find more high street conditioners work great, like Pantene and Aussie whereas organic versions don’t get through the knots.
However, once my hair was dry, my hair looks frizz free (with no added products), shiny and very, very soft. It didn’t look dry at all which is pretty amazing.
So what I will say is that this product works – it leaves the hair so soft, and it works quickly too but if you know you get deep knots then use a conditioner beforehand too (it does say to use this alongside the standard range).
