In a sheep moment, baa baaaaa, I went out and bought the Gosh Lipstick in Darling since I had heard so much about it being the perfect nude.
Everything looks great in the tube. How did it turn out on my lips?
Meh. For me its just a a Meh. I imagine this could work quite well on slightly lighter skinned girls than me – on be there’s too much of a whitish cast going on, it just makes me look like I have norovirus.
Still, the lipstick has a nice creamy – if not a little sheer, finish. For the £6 I paid, its not a bad addition, just not the nude I would reach for regularly.
I’m looking for the perfect nude too, I mean the nude that suits me. Oh, I’ve heard that Elf mineral lipstick in Natural Nymph is a good cheap dupe for Darling.
looks so nice in the tube but too pale for my liking once applied on the lips. My favourite nude of all time is blankety from mac.
Oh, this is my favourite lipstick (of the moment). I am quite pale, but even I find it is a little too corpse-like sometimes. It looks stunning w/ a beige gloss over it though. I am using Lioele’s 3D Enamel Gloss in #02 Smokey Beige.
My first nude lipstick turned out to be a pretty good nude on my pigmented lips – MAC’s Cherish. It’s a satin finish (I think!), and goes on really nice and smooth!
