Lanolips Lano All Over Everywhere Multi Cream Review

September 9, 2016 |

I have a fair few of these ‘everywhere’ type creams and balms not because I use them on myself that much (I have a cream for face, for the body – everything is more specific), but because I have 2 boys that needs moisturising all the time and a husband who also has dry skin and I am the one constantly slapping cream on them throughout the day.

Usually these everywhere multi use moisturisers are waxy balms as opposed to creams. That’s ok but since waxes and balms are thick and leave a shiny appearance they’re not something you’d rub on your face in the middle of the day, for example. Step in Lanolips; Lanolips is known for it’s lanolin based lip balm and hand products, and now they have a multi use cream too.

There’s is nothing I have used from Lanolips that I have thought is rubbish. Everything I have tried from the range has been consistently good (unless you are allergic to lanolin that is).

Oh that reminds me. Their Golden skin salve is another all over product but that is the thicker, glossy, balm type which I find a little too thick (as it needs warming before use) to put on the kids faces regularly.

So I was expecting a super thick cold cream type moisturiser. I am happy to say, whilst this is thick and very nourishing it also sinks in fast, and feels lovely and light when rubbed in – it isn’t a burden the skin at all.  I adore it’s ‘blandness’ – so often with creams there’s a lot of other stuff added in which an ruin it for me – fragrance is a big one.  It is a potential irritant for people with sensitive skins which is never a good thing.

It’s more than a bland cream though, I found this highly hydrating on the kids faces and body – they tend to get dry again after a while but with this, their skin was lovely and plump and soft in the morning (I smear their faces when they are sleeping because for some reason, they hate me rubbing cream on their faces!).  Mr C’s hands, which have Psoriasis also used this with no problem.

The tube is quite generous at 85ml.  Bearing in mind I use it every day it’s no more expensive than a baby face cream which is what I usually buy for the children.

This is a very reasonable £10.99 and you can buy it here.  This is the best all over cream I have used so far, I will definitely buy it when I run out. Highly recommend for people with drier skins and want something they can use on hands, face and body and also to use on their children etc.
