I am just beginning to catch up on haulage pics…bear with me, there are loads and loads of good reviews and things coming up!
I love gel and cream eyeshadows very much – so I picked up four of these KATE gel shadows. KATE is not the most glam of brands but the product quality, when its good, is amazing.
BR1, BR2, GY1 and GD1.
GD1 – Is a soft shimmer yellowy gold nice as a base.
GY1 – Is the one I loved the look of – a metallic grey – its very nice but a little on the sheer side, as a lot of these gel eyeshadows are.
BR1 – Is really super pretty. It’s like the colour of a teddy bear, a slightly dirty one though.
BR2 – A richer chocolate brown. Beautiful again.
These eyeshadows dry quickly so you need to work fast before it sets. When it dries it doesn’t budge unless you have watery eyes (then I can’t say it stays put very well). There’s a really nice iridescent shimmer to all of the colors. They aren’t madly opaque though – you could add some powder on top for some depth but its perfect for the daytime.

I like Smudgepots too – I think they are more pigmented though, these are more shimmery/sheer but still gorgeous I promise you!
