Kaeng Raeng is an American brand is a beauty and healthcare range which has a lot of things I really like the sound of; the products are cruelty free, gluten free, colour free, soy free, non-gmo etc. And they really are effective and lovely to use.
There are currently two new(ish) facial skincare products!
The Cleansing Clay ($25) is a charcoal based mask which essential oils which help improve circulation and calms irritated skin. There’s about 15 masks per jar (the jar looks small but it you only need a small amount – it just spreads and spreads).
After glow Serum ($20) is a treatment for the night time. A bottle should last 3- days and it is full of organic oils – I would definitely call this a facial oil rather than serum or anything.
(Ingredients are below).
Apart from the fact I like the clean looking ingredients list for both of these products, I have really enjoyed using them.
I am a big fan of clay masks as long as they do not irritate my skin.
This Cleansing Clay Mask is none irritating but it does contain essential oils which CAN irritate some peoples skin (worth testing on a patch first). It was absolutely fine with my sensitive skin. The texture is quite strange – it’s smooth and spreads easily, but it doesn’t feel like a traditional clay as it’s not “creamy”, it’s thinner once you spread it out. I can almost detect a ‘grittiness’ in it, although it is slight. Either way, it spreads well.
There is no Ylang-Ylang in the ingredients but I swear this is exactly what is smells like to me! Quite sweet and quite strong – not everyones thing but I like it.
I really enjoyed using the mask. Just a small amount covers the whole face and as it dried, I washed off to brighter, cleansed skin. It seemed to draw by blocked pores to the surface to squeeze. Love.
The After Glow Facial Serum is definitely a face oil to me – used on top the moisturiser it seals everything in. My skin looked extra soft and glowy in the morning. I have about 3 face oils I am rotating between and this is one of them because it is none irritating (some fave oils really irritate my face). It’s light enough to not feel greasy but thick enough to not do nothing!
I should also mention the Dexfoliant All Natural Body Scrub – I have reviewed this before and I am quite attached to it now because I used it regularly when I was pregnant with baby no. 2 so when I smell it now, it reminds me of that happy time.
See the brand here – they ship internationally and it’s very fast (about a week) to arrive.
I recommend everything! It is ALL worth checking out but if you only wanted to try one thing at a time I would definitely say, get your hands on that mask!
