Innisfree is a Korean brand I have been paying a lot of attention to lately – they seem to focus on lots of yummy skincare and some cute make up too but without the jovial quality of Etude House or Skinfood.
Innisfree Rose Marbling Blushers look gorgeous and come in three shades – I am missing the white one (it was out of stock). Instead I bought 01 Pink Rose, 02 Peach Rose:
To be honest I’m not a blusher girl – it’s not the thing that turns my head on a make up counter.
These Innisfree Marbling Blushers aren’t so much blushers, but more highlighters. Not highlighters I like, although I probably have to many to use up this life time.
This is a gorgeous medium cool pink shade infused with purple swirls and white. It’s pretty hard textured and very shimmery. In some ways I like this quality in a blusher I don’t like very soft blushers that can cause BLUSH accidents!
Peach Rose is not as pretty to look at but I knew it would bring the J-Lo Glow. It’s a soft peach infused with yellow veins of shimmer. Once again it is quite hard textured and super shimmery.
These work nicely on top of blusher or as a highlighter – certainly if you are medium to dark skin toned this isn’t going to work as a blush. They’re very pretty, not the best highlighter in the world but a cute addition for a touch of sparkles. Be sparing, cos it’s kinda frosty!
I bought these from eBay.
