I don’t know anything about Thanksgiving other than a lot of Turkey’s are eaten in America.

Wait…isn’t that supposed to be for Christmas? Aren’t you guys just basically cheating and getting a pre-Christmas before Christmas?

Very few folks here really care about Thanksgiving day anymore; their only real concern is with ‘Black Friday’ (analogous to your ‘Boxing Day’ in that it involves massive consumption of greatly marked-down goods and services). On Black Friday, everyone spends obscene amounts of time and money purchasing the goods that their loved ones will desperately attempt to return, come Boxing Day.

I not terribly fond of roast Turkey, and I’m even less fond of Black Friday.
