When I saw the Guerlain Ecrin 4 Couleurs eyeshadow palettes, there was definitely one in the world for me. Do you ever sense that about a product? That there is one that is just made for you?
Palettes with bright green or black; they are usually indicators that I will love them!
The palette is lovely, heavy weight, and luxurious. It will get finger marks on it because it’s shiny metal:
I can see why some people will find Les Noirs too dark, too cool but as someone who loves smoky colours, this is just the perfect palette!
The base colour is a slightly flat matte peach, the mid toned grey is also a perfectly flat grey, then there’s a silvery gunmetal and the matte black – I am always searching for a perfect matte black.
There’s a matte black by Givenchy which is meant to be amazing. It’s pricey though.
