FOTD: Clinique Black Tie Violet / Tuxedo Plums Look

So this Clinique collection has been out forever, but I finally picked up some pieces to play with.

I find the silver Clinique packaging very comforting – I think because its stayed the same forever and reminds me my mothers lipstick and compacts.

For the lips, I got Different Lipstick in A Different Grape and Full Potential Lipgloss in Bloomberry:

Shimmering Stripe Blusher in Tuxedo Plum:

Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad in Plum Seduction and Brush on Cream Liner in True Black:

I haven’t played with Clinique make up in a while, so glad I did because the result is something polished and elegant, something you can wear day to day without looking like a clown. I have so much bright make up, and srsly, I’ve realised there is a time and a place…

The eyes, using the quad and gel liner:

The lip gloss – now, this gloss looked pretty ordinary to me but on the lips, its lush! It has plumping qualities so you get that sort of minty tingly feeling, but its fine, not uncomfortable. It has been put on top of the lipstick here:

The blush on the cheeks and a slightly crazy grin from me:

Love this collection, the blusher, gloss, quad and cream liners are fabulous.
