I have used Ellis Faas a good few years ago and I admit I was’t feeling the brand. But, I like to give things another go wherever I can, especially when a few years have passed and there’s a chance of a formula change!
I have here an Ellis Fass Glazed Lips in L306 and a Creamy Eyes eyeshadow in E108.
Ellis Fass packaging is the unique long sleek pen style with the pointy tip. It’s a very particular type of packaging that makes it unique, it’s not really practical (none of my make up bags are THAT long) but it is cool.
To use the colour just twist the base so that the pigment comes out. This is a problem I had previously, where the product wouldn’t come out, then it all came out in one go.
I didn’t have this problem this time round, both products dispensed properly. I noticed that they changed from the hard sponge tip which I was not a fan of at all, to a brush type applicator which is easier to use, and to blend with too – it’s far more preferable.
E108 Creamy Eyes is an unusual beige colour. At first I thought – what is this!? It’s actually a light beige mustard type hue which works as a base colour on medium skin tones. It evens out the skin and adds a little bit of life to the eyes. I don’t have any other shade like this in my collection.
L306 Lip Glaze is a sheer orange gloss. It has a pretty wearable finish which flatters the lip – good for people who don’t want too much colour.
Here is the eye tint:
Both the eye cream and the lip gloss:
Together they work as quite a fresh duo and its very quick to get this kind of look look with the twist up creamy pen.
