EGLips is another Korean beauty brand that is sort of ignorable; the packaging is simple, the brand name is like…EG What? Sounds like an electrical shop or something. And yet…I have a few products (eyeliner, lip gloss) from their range and the stuff is pretty decent, especially as most of the range is only about £5 or so.
The Lively Lip Rouge is a very new release – it is a matte finish lipstick with a moisturising base – just up my alley!
This currently comes in 7 shades (they release new colours if the range is successful), ranging from nude, to orange, to rose, to red and plum. It’s a decent selection but there are only 7 colours so far. I went for 102 Baby Wood which looks like a light brown rose on the swatches – quite unusual as far as Korean ranges go (they tend to favour the brights).
The packaging for this lipstick is quite unusual for a Korean brand – nothing gimmicky, it’s very simple but well made and chic. Baby wood is more of a orange-brown with a reddish tone in the flesh then a brown rose in my opinion. I was a bit disappointed actually when I first saw it.
