Decleor Aroma Cleanse Hydra Radiance Smoothing Cleansing Mousse Review

I do have a bit of a soft spot for Decleor, because it always reminds me of salon treatments and they have some real gems (my current obsession, which I am totally in love with is their facial oil. I’ve trained Mr C in the art of facial massage using this oil and it’s just lovely!).

Anyway – Decleor’s newest offering is the Aroma Clense Hydra Radiance Smoothing Cleansing Mousse (quite a mouthful!). This mousse cleanser promises to keep the skin cleansed and hydrated, and comes with 2 cotton cloths to get the skin really clean.

It’s Decleor so as always it smells lovely. This cleanser is supposed to be multi use – it deep cleanses, it hydrates it buffs away dead skin. It should balance the skin and add brightness.

The mousse cleanser though, isn’t quite a mousse but more of a really thick ceram which turns into a really rich, lovely foam.

The texture of this Decleor cleanser is really really lovely and it’s just as nice when you add the water. It also really brightens the skin – I felt mine looked a lot more radiant after use.

However….there’s always a however right?!

My skin has some dry patches and is also sensitive.

I do think the drier areas of my face felt tight after washing this, and there was a slightly tingly feeling then my cheeks itched. It faded after 5 minutes but nevertheless it still happened.

I passed this on to my Momma to try – she loved it but she has oilier skin than me so it balanced out.

– Beautiful creamy texture

– Really cleans the skin and brightens

– Smells lovely

– Deep cleansing

– Was too drying on me

– Caused a bit of irritation

The texture is beautiful – it reminds me of a cleansing balm that foams and it smells great. This will probably work well on combination and oiler skins – my mum liked it a lot, but I would be wary of it for drier skins and sensitive ones.
