After playing the the Lancome Oscillating Rotating Vibrating Mascara I was not impressed. £29.50 smackers – that is a lot, for a mascara that shudders like a limp vibrator. It doesn’t help with application! It made me squint and squirm, if that counts. Rubbish mascara’s aside, I was very impressed to find the Chanel Exceptional Mascara, £19.50.
There are six head and the brushes combined are supposed to add volume and length. Apply the mascara with a pulling and turning action. See Lancome? I can oscillate a brush myself – I don’t need a battery to do it.
The mascara accompanies two solo eyeshadows (a glittery white and glittery black), a smokey eyes quad and a dual cake eyeliner:
The smoky quad is nice – there is a sheer, white, a shimmer light grey, a shimmer dark grey and a matte black.
The cake liner is lav-er-ly. Seriously. One side is matte, one side is a super shimmery black. You get a sponge, for using dry or a soft look and a brush for applying wet for the slick look. I LOVE this.
See how easy it is?!
I will be playing with these and doing some looks soon! Doesn’t Chanel get it so chic, so right?!

i love how simple yet sophisticated Chanel packagings are!
Hi Nikki
As a teen I wanted a chanel compact so much and even now the packaging still makes me go ooh!
Did you wake up super duper early for the lancome mascara?
