Nars Cream Eyeshadow in Ponderosa Swatches and Review

Nars-Cream-Eyeshadow-in-Ponderosa-Swatches.jpg

Tweet Despite being a big fan of cream eyeshadows, I never truly invested in Nars ones because they always creased. They were brilliant as bases though, as they are quite thick and sticky in comparison to other formulas but worn on their own; they didn’t quite do it for me. I spotted one of their newest cream eyeshadow colours, Ponderosa on ASOS at a discounted price: If you keep an eye on ASOS you will find odd price fluctuations on {Read More}

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Launch Today on Urbandecay.com: Review and Swatches

Urban-Decay-Naked-2-Palette-Swatches-Eyeshadows-.jpg

Tweet The last time Urban Decay released a Naked Palette it was like Christmas Eve in the frozen meat department at Asda; everyone was desperate to get their paws on a set. I liked the first one, although you know how I feel about cardboard packaging (not a fan).  Naked 2 palette, launching officially next year in the UK and today (1st December 2011) on Urbandecay.com comes in…a tin! A TIN! Call me a nutter but this is a deal {Read More}

Tweet I got my lovely aunt to pick something up for me from Duty Free and…she failed. She allegedly said that she thought she could buy it “on the plane” which at that point she presented me with some out of date Turkish Delight instead. A month later she was on another holiday and this time I insisted that she buy the Dior palette BEFORE she boarded a plane…and she did! Here is Dior 5 Couleurs Couture Colour Eyeshadow Palette 004 {Read More}

All in one blush set! Kose Cosmagic Sweet Deco Cheek Review

Cosmagic-Sweet-Deco-Cheek-.jpg

Tweet Cosmagic is a rather quirky little brand from Japan.  Without realising, I have actually tried quite a few of their products, like their measurable mascara, glitter eyeliner and eyebrow pencil! My latest haul is their Sweet Deco Cheek Blusher which comes in 2 variations; Strawberry Pink and Peach Pink.  I chose Peach Pink: This cute blusher comes with lots of bits and pieces, so to speak!

Kate Moss Lipstick Collection for Rimmel Part 2: Lip Swatches

The-Kate-Collection-Rimmel-London.jpg

Tweet Rimmel London’s Kate Moss Lipstick collection was mighty popular the last time I passed a Boots counter; the nudes in particular seemed to be sold out. However I don’t think the range is Limited so there’s no rush! Image; Kate Moss photographs so well (obviously):   I have some lip swatches for you. I haven’t done many for a while because I find it really causes flaking after a while (taking the product off and reapplying!) but this is {Read More}

No. 6 MUA Professional Eyeshadow Heaven and Earth – Swatches and Review

MUA-Professional-Eyeshadow-Palette-in-Heaven-Earth.jpg

Tweet Yes I saved the best for last. Heaven & Earth is the brown toned palette from MUA Professional (and I am into browns at the moment!).  It’s a great palette – a mixture of warm and a few cooler browns, beige, golds – lovely. Is it like Urban Decay’s Naked palette, I hear you cry?! Well have a look here, you tell me!

No. 5 MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette Dusk Til Dawn – Swatches and Review

MUA-Professional-Eyeshadow-Dusk-Til-Dawn-.jpg

Tweet Dusk til Dawn is one of those palettes that I knew was very me – I love the green.  I will buy a palette based on the strength of its green only. That and the silvery hues look good. I presume the name, Dusk Til Dawn suggests you can use it for night and day: Take a look….

No. 3 MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette Pretty Pastels – Swatches and Review

MUA-Professional-Eyeshadow-Palette-in-Pretty-Pastels.jpg

Tweet Next up is the MUA Professional Palette in Pretty Pastels: Hands up right away! My least favourite.  I just don’t like pastels that much.  Some people do, especially those who like natural colours.  I just find this palette quite samey and soft – but it IS pastels! It is delivering what one would expect!
