Bit of a Haul: Mac Cosmetics, In The Groove, Stereo Rose etc.

Mac-cosmetics-haul-stereo-rose.jpg

Tweet I made a nice haul at MAC during a recent trip to London. Because I am on a no buy now (ahem) I thought I may as well buy some bits from the In The Groove collection and some other cosmetics I’ve been meaning to try: I have to say, all the MAC SA’s I dealt with this time where friendly and helpful, unlike my usual experiences. Anyway, here’s what I bought. One of the Superglass Lip Glosses in {Read More}

Tweet Apart from loving notebooks, I also love stamps, beads, art supplies in general – including stamps! I find that handmade stamps, or the ones that come on woodblocks can be quite expensive, about £4+ each. Well during a visit to Home Bargains (a discount store in England – I LOVE it) I found these stamps: There’s a mixture of stamps – Happy Birthday, Thankyou, even Muchas Gracias! I think they’ll come in use and are rather cute. I can {Read More}

I also bought Red magazine which I have never read before for a free Jemma Kidd lip gloss, then later on an Elle magazine for a free leopard print bag: Can I just {Read More}

The Color Strips collection is somewhat customizable…you select an eyeshadow strip then a pot rouge strip to put into the palette. The total cost for the two strips and case (£19 + £16 + £5) becomes £40 which is the average price for a Bobbi Brown Palette. Kikis Delivery Service mini stamp set, and a Hello Kitty Security Stamp. If you don’t know what Kiki’s Delivery Service is, its an animation written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Visee-Mercury-Duo-Eyeshadows.jpg

I wanted these two babies the first time I laid my eyes on them! Visee Japan’s latest offering is these snazzily cased Brilliance Forming Eyes. I like Visee eyeshadows – don’t love. These two are extremely cute: The one in the blue case is A-6 and the pink eyeshadow is A-7. The pattern engrained on the top of the eyeshadows is cute…but not, I-musn’t-touch pretty which is a good thing otherwise this would be sat in my bottom drawer….forever….. The {Read More}

Luxury Hauled It: Mason Pearson Nylon Hair Brush

Mason-Pearson-Hair-Brush-London-England.jpg

I had a hair consultation recently with Melissa from Stone Bridge (more on that later) and the lady I spoke to recommended Mason Pearson Hair Brushes and good old Kent. She also recommended Nylon Bristles over Bristled ones (I’ve always hated them anyway – how are they supposed to get through knots?!). I took this as an invitation to buy a new Mason Pearson Hair Brush with Nylon Bristles! The box is gorgeous – how am I supposed to bring {Read More}
