Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil For Sublime Softness Review!

I have a massive soft spot of Bumble & Bumble hair products – I find their products work well without being too heavy or obvious in the hair. One of their newer products is the Invisible Oil (100ml):

This transformative blend of nourishing oils vanishes into hair, leaving a smooth feathersoft feel and a trace of shine.  Flyaways disappear, too. Can be used any time, to soften, smoothe and reduce frizz, tame flyaways, detangle and strengthen hair against breakage.

Bumble Bumble Hairdresser s Invisible Oil For Sublime Softness Review 1

This is quite an interesting multi use product that moves away from the argan oil trend.  This product can be used on dry hair for shine and control and wet hair for styling purposes to add softness and to protect the hair.  I love the funky orange packaging although the oil itself is just clear.

Once again this is a highly highly concentrated product – I used a 50p coin sized amount of this and it was way too much. I now use a tiny squirt, about 5p sized in my frizzy hair and its enough to tame flyways and also add softness – it does make the hair really really soft and stroke able, and I daresay, helps with knots too.

There are a lot of different types of oils in this product!  Oilve, Coconut, Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, Safflower etc. etc.

Ingredients:

Dimethicone, Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate, Isododecane, Dimethiconol, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Gardenia Tahitensis (Tiare) Flower Extract, Bis-Cetearyl Amodimethicone, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Squalane, Tocopherol, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Fragrance (Parfum).

The first ingredient still is Silicone though, so it depends how you feel about it – I don’t really mind it in a hair product.

I really like this product – although I have so many serums (the last one I finished was Keratase Oleo Relax which is ok but can be heavy) this one makes my hair look quite naturally soft shiny and healthy.

Verdict:

A bit expensive at £20 but is really good if you don’t use too much to just keep your hair looking like YHBB (your hair but better).

What is your hair texture like? I’ve got naturally frizzy thick hair and have noticed that oils seem to work wonders!

      Hi Harpreet

It used to be mega frizzy medium textured, since giving birth it’s been thinner although it will still frizz up! You should give this a go it seems to be more concentrated than other hair oils I’ve tried!
