The story of Bubble-T, an anti-oxidant skincare line is rather cute; they were inspired by the Taiwanese drink invented during the 1980s (you know, the tea with large tapioca balls at the bottom!). The range smells good and features tea in all of the products, and is a blend of western and eastern influences. I love the bright cheerful packaging!
I have a selection of products here. The range has three scent groups, Restore (red), Revive (green) and Stimulate (yellow.
I have the Lemongrass and Green Tea Stimulating Shower Gel (£8), Powdered bath spice in Hibiscus and Acai (£8) and two hand lotions in Hibiscus again and Moroccan Mint (100ml – £5).
I have now had the chance to try all of these products.
Firstly they smell amazing – really refreshing or juicy or fresh, depending on which scent you choose. I mean they smell really delicious, not fake smelling but really refreshing.
The Lemongrass and Green Tea is super zingy and refreshing. There are small exfoliating pearls in the shower gel, which is nice and it also isn’t drying. I must say I can’t smell the tea element though and I would say its more lemon than lemongrass but it still smells really good.
The Hibiscus and Acai smells strongly of mixed berries – once again yummy because the Mr has stolen the hand cream and when he applies it I can smell it a mile off.
Morrocan Mint Tea smells minty, once again a really elegant fresh mint.
Texture wise – the shower gel is great, really scrubby and nice for the morning to wake one up!
The bath powder fizzes and disappears – it’s not far off a bath bomb really but it is heavily scented which I like and quite softening on the skin.
The hand lotions are thin textured and sink in quite fast – nice for every day use, perhaps not as helpful for people with really dry skin on the hands.
The Bubble-T range is really bright and cheerful and lovely looking. Well worth looking at if you love nice scents and good quality products.
Visit the website here. I personally love the shower gel the most!
