Boots No. 7 Silky Leg OIl

There’s something kinky about buying a product called a Silky Leg Oil, isn’t there?

It’s not just a body oil. It’s a SILKY leg oil.

I don’t look after my legs enough. I got bitten badly last summer, and I scar badly. Have kept legs covered up since then.

But the summer is here and they need some vitamin D!

Enter Boots No.7 Silky Leg Oil (100ml, £10.30). It comes in a cute pump bottle and a nice box – but let’s not let that impress us….

Because the skin on our lower leg is thin and prone to dryness, they need a more intense type of moisture to keep them soft and smooth, this is why No7 Silky Leg Oil is a must in every girl’s beauty regime. No7 Silky Leg Oil is a heavenly formula which uses nourishing Moroccan Argan Oil and Vitamin E to give deep-down hydration, leaving even parched knees and shins feeling irresistibly smooth. With legs this good, you’ll want to show them off all year round.

No7 Silky Leg Oil is

* Hypo-allergenic
* Dermatologically tested

I love it…I really like it! It’s an oil but it sinks in quickly and smells nice. It’s also super easy to use after an shower when the skin is slightly damp. My legs are feeling softer and better already – but it is quite pricy for not very much product, but to be fair, oil goes further than say, a cream.

The ingredients:

Let me do some translating of the main ingredients:

Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Evening Primrose Oil, Parfum, Vitamin E,

Could you get a mixture of these oils yourself to make a cheaper leg oil? Probably. Although there would be quite a lot of oils to get and blend yourself.

I prefer this to using say, pure almond or jojoba oil because this sinks in nicely.

You can buy it here - plus there’s lots of 3 for 2 offers on at Boots at the moment and money off vouchers.

  1. When I saw the ingredients, the first thing that popped out was “hair growth stimulator”…I think I will use some sunscreen this summer though…just not oil…

    • Hi Citrine!

      Well the oil is just a substitue for a moisturiser not for UV protection. I hate using cream after a shower so I quite like oils, since I can apply them right after/during a shower. Then if I am bearing my legs in the sun, some UV cream on top! (not that I plan on bearing my legs!)

  2. If you are thinking of using this product you could go for 100% pure organic argan oil and get the same results but with less chance of having a negative reaction because your only using one natural ingredient.
