Beauty at Ideal World TV and Elizabeth Grant Product Review!

Ok, hands up if you watch the shopping channels?  Once a place for students staying up all night to finish essays, or new mummies holding their tearful newborns, shopping channels are now a little more main stream and are valid places to shop (of course, the big channels all have websites too!).

A channel I have occasionally watched is Ideal World TV – like QVC, they sell a huge selection of products for life – kitchen, fashion, DIY, fashion, holidays…lots more…and of course beauty!

They have quite a large selection of brands, which I admit were new to me such as, SkinChemists, Skineance, Elizabeth Grant, M.Asam and ones I know like Organic Surge and Jane Iredale. I have two products here from Elizabeth Grant which my mum tested for me.

My mama has been using the Collagen Re-Inforce Silk Edition eye creme layered with the Eye treatment for a few weeks now.

The cream is a rich feeling, hydrating formula.  The eye treatment is a runnier serum which is dispensed through a roller ball type applicator, but it is quite wide, so you can sort of work this over the entire eye area.

They say:

A gentle and lightweight treatment that helps reveal the appearance of a smoother, line-free eye area. The Collagen Re-Inforce Eye Treatment nourishes and hydrates the skin around the eyes, improving the look of
crow’s feet and the elasticity of the skin.  A treat just to apply, the cool roller ball soothes under the eye and helps to reduce the look of puffiness.  This advanced serum contains marine collagen that helps to strengthen and tighten the skin around the eyes.

It’s cooling and refreshing to use (as most rollerball products are) and is also nice to use when you’ve been staring at something for too long!

The Silk Edition Eye Creme is a very nourishing formula.  Mother candy felt it made her eyes feel softer and smoother since using them, although she’s not into fuss, so has been using the cream at night and rollerball in the day instead.

Mother is prone to stinging when using an eye product that is a bit too much for her eyes – she reported no problems at all with irritation when using these two products.

Check out the beauty selection at Ideal World TV here, you can also watch the channel on Sky (644), Freeview (22), Virgin (747) and Freesat (812).
