In my lame attempt to stop buying so much make up, I instead ended up scouring make up stands, trying to find something under a tenner that would give me some joy.
I ended up stopping on the Rimmel stand – I must rarely talk about Rimmel because I couldn’t even find a tag for it on this blog. D’oh!
Here’s what I purchased!
Rimmel Lasting Finish Vintage Retro 220
Rimmel Moisture Renew Full Bloom in Lily Extase in 340
I loved the look of Retro (lasting finish) a really really hot orange red.
Lilly Extase is a hot pink – lovely and hydrating (or so it looks) with a nice deep purple packaging.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Retro:
I love this shade! Its completely bright and in your face but fun too. It reminds me of my Chanel Enthusiast Lipstick, which I lost a while ago.
Lip Swatch (sorry, this is turning into a lip swatch blog!):
I also really like the texture of this lippy. Its nice and creamy (lipliner a must) so it might smudge a bit. Love!
Lilly Extase is hot pink – the lipstick is a moisture renew one which I am guessing is extra hydrating. It feels good:
On the lips – its quite a cool toned but really HOT pink. LOVE.
These lipsticks aren’t that cheap. I think they were about £6.99 – £7.99 each. That’s almost £10 each! Grrr
Overall though they are really pretty….will do more counter scouring soon.
Anything else I should be trying from Rimmel? Let me know!
