This is my first ever purchase from Banila Co which I believe is a Korean brand. It’s a fairly expensive cosmetics brand but I thought I’d try something out from the range. This palette is about £16 retail, I paid about £23 for it from eBay including shipping.

Banila Co seem to release these palettes occasionally – I chose one called Tokyo Scandal:

I think the box is extremely cute!

I love having everything in one place, there’s 6 shades here, three pale ones and three darker ones. It’s got everything in one place.

The pigmentation of these eyeshadows is great – they’re creamy and soft, but not crumbly so there’s no fall out or sparkly bits! I’d say this is quite a grown up palette – no whacky colours here but everything is very wearable and pretty with a faint shimmer:

I really like this palette! I’ll definitely buy another Banila Co one to try out, perhaps something with more interesting colours!

Oooooh I likey…I’m a sucker for nice packaging and this one ticks all the boxes…loving the quirky illustrations! How big is it? Small enough to carry about in the handbag?

Ah, memories! When I was in Korea I went a little crazy swatching their products, but didn’t buy anything at the time because I wasn’t into make up as much as I am now.

A lot of their products remind me of MAC. Their collections always include mineralized blushes, shadow duos, & the palettes like yours (& ones with 3 shadows & a blush.) I’m going to have to ask my friend to send me some!
