I am doing a lip colour special for the next two weeks – I have been sorting my drawer of lip colours (what a waste! So many glosses that are bound to go off!) and I have complied 5 of my favourite purple and plummy lip colours to begin with.
Stila Lip Glaze in Pomegranite:
Thick glossy texture – one of my very first make up obsessions was the lip glazes! Stila is no more in the UK but at least you can still find some stockists online.
Korres Plum:
Glossy, no shimmer gloss. Not as scary on as in the tube.
Nars Boogie Nights:
Sheerer in the tube than on the lips – can be worn as a strong purple. Minimal shimmer.
Jill Stuart Lip Luster (no. 10):
Very scary in the tube but sheer and shimmery on the lips. Lip Lusters are generally very pretty anyway and this was an unusual choice or me. I think its called Sugar Plum…

You wouldnt wear it that thick in real life tho, but I had to layer it a bit so the colour showed – its quite sheer in real life x
I’m lemming the Korres now – what shade is it? On their website it looks like the entire range is called ‘Cherry’. Thanks for the comparisons!

Silly me. It’s PLUM – I wrote plum to begin with, then saw ‘cherry’ on the side. D’oh!
