3 Nyx Lipstick Haul: Snow White, Sierra & Narcissus Swatches

NYX Lipsticks are so brill for the price – I purchased (quite a while ago, mind!) three lipsticks to add to my extensive collection.

I bought Snow White, Sierra and Narcissus.

Whilst I really like these creamy, pigmented lipsticks I have to say the packaging is just so so. It’s not the way it looks or how it feels, I just mean that I find it comes away with the base a lot. Don’t get me started on the round glosses – I had packaging issues with them too!

Anyway here are the lipsticks – Narcissus is a light candy pink, Sierra is a warm brown beige nude and Snow White is a blood red.

The texture of all of these lipsticks is good. Sierra especially feels creamy and hydrating but really, for the price (about £3 each) these are great lip colours.

Narcissus is a candy pink and the least successful of this haul – the texture was a bit drier than the other two so this settled into my lines and was far too light and bright – it really accentuated the redness around my mouth (I get that when I eat spicy food and have hot drinks, anyone else?).

Sierra is beautiful despite it looking brown in the tube:

I love this, it reminds me of Sofia Vergara, (I am OBSESSED with her) – nude with attitude! I admit this won’t suit everyone’s skintone because it is very warm and slightly orange, slightly brown…

But I love it….

Snow White is everything I though it would be – a blood red like what Snow White herself would wear. What a great name and shade! It’s dramatic so I wouldn’t wear it too often but it’s such a lovely choice of red for a good price:

The texture is nice for Snow White, it’s not dry and not too creamy which is good when it comes to reds; more likely to stay neat.
