I bought a MAC lipstick from eBay recently…not the cleverest thing because eBay is littered with fakes of the most popular brands (such as MAC, Nars and Benefit) but the seller had good feedback and I presumed it would be ok. But now I am seeing little things that makes me wonder if it is a fake. Readers, what do you think?I am no MAC expert but perhaps some of you are…. I pulled out […]
Now, I have a really bad habit of buying full size skincare products on the whim…very bad habit because inevitably it doesn’t quite suit me and it ends up in a drawer somewhere. So I decided recently that I needed some new skincare for my super sensitive skin and I ended up on a Kiehl’s counter where a super lovely SA recommended some products. I decided to be SENSIBLE and ask for samples, luckily the […]
OPI have created a charity shade to support Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (March) and with every purchase made in this month, Lena White will donate £1 to Ovacome. The shade is ‘Teal The Cows Come Home’: Ovarian cancer is very heard to spot because the symptoms can be so easily confused for something else. Remember the acronym BEAT: Bloating that does not come and go Eating less and feeling fuller quickly Abdominal Pain Tell your […]
Since I swatched all of the previous Beetlejuice nail polishes from Models Own, I thought you might like to see three new polishes launching on the 19th March! Copper Pot, Tropical Sun and Indian Ocean (£5 each). Of all three I likeIndian Ocean the most! What do you think of these?
As if I need another foundation, right? I couldn’t resist buying the new Bourjois foundation and primer when I spotted them in Boots – they have a deal where you can get both for just £13! (The foundation is £11.99 on it’s own so do the math!). Bourjois Flower Perfection foundation boasts of 16 hours wear, pore and fine line coverage, an even finish, SPF15, with azalea flower extract ‘youth extending’ (I can think of […]
Mr C has done a good job of keeping me fed lately since I’ve had weird food cravings, and last night he picked up some Philadelphia Cadbury’s Chocolate Spread for me. In my head this totally works. Philadelphia is a neutral enough cheese to have with savoury or sweet topping so why shouldn’t chocolate work with it too? I had this spread on plain white toast. Verdict? It has a nice soft spreadable texture, then bam!! […]
Clio is a fairly expensive Korean make up brand (in comparison to Skinfood, Etude House et al) and is also quite tricky to find if you are ordering from the UK! I have a real eyeliner obsession and spotted these super cool looking gel pencil eyeliners called Gelpresso – like Gel and Espresso!!!!! Oh wait….Gel…Express….O. For some reason I have coffee on the brain. Although these pencils are about £15 each I bought 6 of […]
Benefit’s latest Blush Box is Hervana, a rosy, berry, violet, peach toned box. It’s about time Benefit brought out something with these lovely purple type tones… My favourite blush boxes from Benefit are Hoola (perfect matte bronzer) then I quite like Coralista. But I haven’t found one that I’ve found an essential blush shade. Do you like the design of the box: Benefit Hervana has four shades which can be swirled into one. It has […]
