A few weeks ago I visited FOUR London to try their Eve Taylor facial, a treatment with a difference because it takes a holistic approach that is‘treating the person as a whole rather than the individual symptom’. What does that actually mean? It means looking at why you’ve got that spot rather than picking at it and covering it up with make up. I found this ti be a extremely rewarding treatment because of this […]
One of my current brand crushes is Innisfree, a eco-friendly Korean brand from..well, where do you think?! They have some really interesting products, a lot of food inspired items which reminds me of Skinfood. However the Innisfree products try to be as natural as possible. I spotted this Mineral Multi Colour Blush and had to buy it – how cute?! This comes in 4 shades and I bought pink and brown, but the seller couldn’t […]
For Christmas 2011 Jane Iredale will be bringing in a new edition of Chocoholicks lip palette. It comes in a chocolate coloured case (naturally) and includes a lip brush. Jane Iredale herself says: “The selection process was quite delicious! We asked ourselves: what four flavours, when combined with chocolate, make the most heavenly pairing? We’re confident we found the four all?stars: Blood Orange, Espresso, Very Berry and Chili Pepper. The results are simply irresistible.” Woo! […]
When I read that Kleenex had released some skincare products I rolled my eyes…big roll…like really?! Nevertheless I was intrigued… When the products arrived I was rather pleased; Kleenex didn’t launch a range of facial washes or soaps, no, they stuck to what they know – tissue! There are 4 products in the range all nicely packaged: Facial Cleansing Wipes and Eye Make Up Removal Wipes £2.99 each for 24 wipes….
To be honest I haven’t bought anything from Illamasqua for a while. Maybe its because it’s quite dark and brooding and I’ve been in the mood for princessy and light packaging lately! However – I was sent three products from the Illamasqua ‘Theatre of the Nameless’ collection to try. I hadn’t seen the collection so I didn’t have a clue what to expect. Nail Polish in Kink £13.50, Blusher in Ambition £16.50 and Precision Ink […]
It’s Wednesday, Wednesday, gotta get down on Wednesday… Actually I am so tired, so exhausted, that I won’t be getting down to anything. Hence the blog has been somewhat quieter than normal not to mention the other blogs I am working on. I am surviving – just – on minimal sleep as I try to get things done. Bear with me! Anyway you know how much I love lip balms? I can never have enough […]
The Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Gel Eyeliners had me intrigued immediately; they come in a standard collection and a ‘glam’ collection. The glam collection is metallic. The standard is not. They last 24 hours and are supposed to be water resistant. Physicians Formula is a drugstore brand I believe. These are blocks of gel liners that come in 3 colours and they stack one of top of the other. The shimmer strips ranges are made […]
A few months ago my cousin visited from Canada and bought me a few pieces from Physicians Formula. I had requested these items; she found it quite tough locating the brand in Vancouver and the range was apparently limited but at least I got my mitts on some bits and pieces! (more reviews to follow). I asked her to buy me a few of the Shimmer Strips Custom Eye palettes (they have tons, tailored towards […]
