Judging by the conversations I’ve had lately, everyone’s taste in what they deem as beautiful seems to vary a lot these days. It got me thinking, who do other people think are beauties, and why* *You can’t say your mum. We get it, you love your mum, but its not cliché day. I personally like natural beauties, less fake hair, fake nails, fake tan, more old school glamour. I also find that if someone is […]
Illuminators, in reality are tricky little buggers to get right. Can’t be too sparkly, can’t be too pearly. Can’t be too dry, can’t be too creamy. Remember when Benefit High Beam was Da Bomb? How everyone used to go on about how Kylie used it, and therefore we should too, if we wanted to look like large toothed, Jason Donovan loving pixies. Do I have a dream illuminator? No, not yet. I seriously prefer the warm scent of a candle over a room spray, so was happy to burn these ones for a while. And what pretty things they are….
I am always on the look out for new UK brands and for a mineral foundation that works for me – and look what I found…. I got a starter kit fromPurely Mineral which has a blush, foundation, 2 shadows, an eyeshadow brush and a kabuki brush (£30.00):
MAD Beauty make lots of quirky little beauty bits and this Honey Lipbalm is one of them… For £3.50 its a cute addition to the lip balm collection – it certainly smells good and has a nice texture, and yet, I can’t help feeling this is not intensive lip treatment and is more suitable for the under 18′s…
